Course description
There are currently two levels of English for Doctors courses available:
Getting Started - Basic level (A1 to A2+ of the Common European Framework)
In the Surgery - Intermediate level (B1 to B1+ of the Common European Framework).
Basic
In this course you will learn essential language used in the surgery. You will:
- practise useful vocabulary, the alphabet, spelling and numbers
- practise greetings and exchanging basic information
- read and reply to an email message from a patient
- study the language of a surgery consultation
- prepare and practise a consultation with a patient.
Intermediate
In this course you will learn essential language used in the surgery. You will:
- practise useful vocabulary
- read and write email correspondence with a patient
- study the language of a surgery consultation
- write an email informing a patient on the progress of their illness
- prepare and practise a consultation with a patient.
